Shop the Fan Sphere collection

Fan Sphere Collection / Fan Sphere is another design that was developed in a playful process at the workbench. I had no fixed goal beside the wish of creating a spherical module for a new series of jewellery.
The collection includes ear studs, earrings, pendants, rings and cuff links. I can make any size you wish for, but usually I work with three: Diameter 10, 12 and 15 mm.

Fan Sphere Collection

In the design process I worked with small silver roundels, which I sawed up in thirds or “fans”. The final construction and structure I came up with by bending the fans in different angles and soldering them together into a spherical formation. The name for the collection arose naturally: Fan Sphere.

The number of fans is uneven (7 or 5), which make the design asymmetrical, but still harmonious.
One of the beautiful things about the collection is its way of reflecting the light and the mirroring of the fans in each other. That effect can be fully appreciated when you wear the jewellery rather than see it in the display. 

I match my Fan Sphere ear studs with the pendant from the Pompon Collection.
