Wedding Rings / All wedding rings are made on commission by me in the workshop/ gallery in the heart of Copenhagen. Finding the right design is a mutual process. First we have a preliminary talk followed by a noncommittal sketching phase. Once you have approved a design and payed a deposit, the actual work crafting the rings can begin. Usually I offer a size testing before the last finish is made, to ensure a perfect fit. In addition, you can choose a hand or laser engraving for the rings. It is also local workshops taking care of this for me.

Material / 18kt gold
About / This set of rings are made as Möbius strips – a commission and challenge from a couple of mathematicians. The symbolism of the infinite strip is perfect for wedding bands and the result very elegant.

About / A design with an angular pattern in two grey tones: Silver contrasting with the darker white gold. One ring has a soft square shape.

About / A simple and graphic circle motif covers both rings. When held together the motif of the rings forms a whole. Yet the rings also look beautiful seperately.

Material / silver and 18kt white & rose gold
About / This set of rings shows an abstract pattern with the initials L and S. The design is made across a wide band and then divided in two bands afterwards, so the rings each show half of the pattern and fit together as a whole.

Material / silver and 14kt white & rose gold
About / This couple wished to have stripes along the ring and in the sketching phase I came up with the idea of incorporating their initials A and M, too.

WEDDING RINGS

About / A heavyset pair of rings with a rounded profile, a mat brushed surface and polish inside. A size graduated band of diamonds is set in the lady’s ring.

Material / 18kt white gold and silver
About / This set of rings shows an abstract pattern with the initials S and M. The design is made across a wide band and then divided in two bands afterwards, so the rings each show half of the pattern and fit together as a whole.

Material / 18kt gold & white gold
About / The rings have a white gold letter inlaid across the total width. Each has the other’s initial in their ring. Simple, graphic and personal.

Material / silver and 18kt white gold
About / The rings have a white gold stripe along one edge, that respectively on the lady’s and gentleman’s ring grows into a “K” and a “D”. Each has the other’s initial in their ring. Simple, graphic and personal.

About / The pattern of the rings matches a tattoo with a special meaning to the couple. The design is made across a wide band and then divided in two bands afterwards, so the rings each show half of the pattern and fit together as a whole.

About / The design for this set of rings origins in the coat of arms of the groom’s family. On the lady’s ring two swan heads hold a diamond between their beaks and the coat of arms and other symbols from is featured on the gentleman’s ring.

WEDDING RING
Material / 18kt gold and olive green diamonds
About / A classic lady’s ring with a band of diamond pavé along the ring. The pavé setting is ideal for wedding bands as the stones are level with the surface. This design can also be made with a rounded profile on the ring and with other diamond colours, e.g. champagne or white.

Wedding Rings / When creating wedding rings I often use a technique called “married metals”. A number of metal alloys are soldered together and the contrasting colours form a pattern. A bit like Intarsia – inlaid wood. The surface is smooth and the pattern seen as colour tones. “Married metals” is suitable for crafting very personal and unique rings. The initials of the couple, special symbols or references can be incoporated in the design.

My colour “palette” is silver (light grey), white gold (dark grey), gold and rose gold.

I also apply this technique when crafting other personal pieces of jewellery on commission. It can be cuff links, earrings or pendants. Ideal presents for bride and groom – or for other special occasions such as anniversaries or birthdays.
